Marianne began practicing yoga in 2003 as a compliment to running and weight training and immediately fell in love with the practice and its benefits. She obtained her 200 hour yoga certification in the spring of 2017 and is currently pursuing a 300 hour certification at Asheville Yoga Center. Marianne is also acquiring a Pilates Reformer certification. She states, “I had no idea how instructing yoga would enhance my life.
My original goal as a teacher was to advance my own practice, and fill a void as my children grew older. I quickly learned that seeing such positive physical and mental changes in my students was the true reward. I love the supportive aspect of the fitness community and feel honored to be a part of a group that helps others along their journey to a healthier and fuller life.” Her goal is to motivate and inspire her students to evolve, be more, and do more. Marianne welcomes all levels of students to her classes with a fast-paced focus on creative sequencing, balance, strength, stability and self-love.
